Wyoming Game & Fish Commission tries to deflect WFGD reputation as the cruelest, unscientific agency in U.S. with a fake award.

Cheyenne, WYOMING (Enviro Snowflake Brief)— The Wyoming Game & Fish Commission deceitfully announced on August 3rd that it is being recognized as “the best in the west.” Director Brian Nesvik claiming the Western Association of Hunters and Wildlife Agencies named his Commission the “Commission/Board of the Year for 2020.”

There is one small problem with the “thirsty” claim for approval and praise by Wyoming Fish & Game Department’s commission- no such award exists.

It is Fake News folks.

Several disgruntled employees in the department spoke anonymously to the media, in which they describe the ‘behind the scenes” thinking of the Commission leadership attempting such a desperate public relations ruse.

“Several Commissioners are emotional wrecks ever since they were put on the Wildlife Abuser Registry in 2019, including Director Nesvik. The Registry’s harsh out-of-state tracing requirements for these guys is humiliating,” explained one young department wildlife biologist.

The central Wildlife Abuser Registry was created in 2019 by a consortium of states to maintain a registry of named U.S. state wildlife agency officials, who oversee the most inhumane and unscientific wildlife policies in the country. The Registry states require these wildlife abusers to alert authorities if visiting their borders.

When visiting one of the Registry states, such as California, the abusers must stop at the nearest Highway Patrol office to be outfitted with a GPS ankle bracelet- trips with the family to Disneyland included.

When Director Nesvik claims Wyoming Game & Fish Commission is being recognized as “the best in the West,” I assume he means… when it comes to unfathomable cruelty to the wildlife they swore to protect (not just elk so they can shoot them).

Wyoming’s wildlife management DNA is best described by Todd Wilkinson, in the Mountain Journal, explaining the state’s policy on killing native canids.

“According to Wyoming statute, wolves in 4/5ths of the state can be killed ‘with, from, or byuse of any aircraft, automotive vehicle, trailer, 35 motor-propelled wheeled vehicle or vehicle designed for travel over snow’—any unimaginable sadistic act to destroy these carnivores; lobos, coyotes and their young offspring is OK with Wyoming.”

If the fake award was an attempt to garner sympathy for officials listed on the Wildlife Abuser Registry, consider that WFGD, nor the state Legislature, was willing to support a ban on a killing sport called “coyote whacking.” Please feel free to google it, if you have the stomach for it.

Yes, Wyoming you are “the best of the West…” in finding ways to kill everything wild and beautiful in the cruelest ways imaginable.
