Gov. Gianforte announces state Legislature will introduce new Bill to include all Husky-Malamutes in wolf hunting regulations.

Helena, MONTANA (Enviro Snowflake Brief)— Governor Greg Gianforte spoke candidly today to reporters regarding the Republican led Legislature introducing a Bill to require Montana Fish & Wildlife Commission to include Husky and Malamute dogs in the state’s liberal year-round wolf hunting season.

“This is an action needed for a long time in order to help desensitize the general public to the cruelty and suffering Montanan sportsmen justly inflict upon gray wolves. These dogs just look too much like wolves! If our hunters and trappers can minimize the presence of these breeds throughout our rural and suburban communities, it will help suppress the public’s emotional reaction to wolf hunting,” explained the Governor.

“Moreover, it provides more ‘take’ opportunities for our beloved trappers and predator hunters- a big win!”

Gov. Gianforte, covered in camo clothing from head to toe, brought a few important guests with him. “I want to thank Amber Rose, who recently bagged her first Husky pup. She provided Montana hunters with the motivation to push me forward with this expanded wolf-husky-malamute hunting Bill,” stated the Governor, as Amber broadly smiled with her rotten teeth.

“Amber Rose exemplifies what a Montana sportsman looks like today!”

In addition, Sen. Bob Brown and Rep. Paul Fielder, both Republicans from Thompson Falls, who will draft the Husky-Malamute hunting legislation Bill, joined the Governor for the announcement. Gov. Gianforte described the state Legislators as the masterminds behind last year’s new law authorizing hunters and trappers to kill an unlimited number of wolves through baiting, trapping, and night hunts using night vision scopes and spotlighting. Rep. Fielder, who ironically holds a wildlife biology degree, boastfully trumpeted out loud, “Let’s smoke a pack a day!”

Conservation organizations are obviously appalled by Montana’s announcement. “Time is running out for wolves in the northern Rockies,” said Nicholas Arrivo, managing attorney for wildlife at the Humane Society of the United States. “If federal action is not taken urgently, another deadly season of cruel, unregulated slaughter may leave us without much of a population to protect. Huskies and Malamutes will have even less chance of survival than our dwindling, persecuted wolf population- stop the madness.”

Andrea Zaccardi, carnivore conservation legal director at the Center of Biological Diversity said, “Because Idaho and Montana are hellbent on eradicating wolves from their states, these animals desperately need federal protection now. The Fish and Wildlife Service can’t stand idly by while these states let hunters and trappers kill hundreds of wolves every year, and now Huskies and Malamute dogs.” Where is Sec. Haaland? To date, nothing but crickets.

As reported by ESB earlier this year, a growing conspiracy theory believes Deb Haaland’s was overtaken by a shapeshifter trophy hunter, which would explain her lack of support to protect wolves. https://envirosnowflakebrief.com/2022/01/24/shape-shifter-trophy-hunter-exposed-as-taking-the-life-form-of-sec-haaland/

Unless Montanans finally step up at the ballot box to protect their wildlife from the modern day “sportsman,” we can assume hope is lost for not only wolves, but also Huskies and Malamutes.
