An anonymous source from Oregon’s Cattlemen Association has exposed a secret award ceremony for Gov. Brown to recognize her ongoing damage to wolf recovery.

SALEM, OREGON (Enviro Snowflake Brief)— An anonymous source, who works for Oregon’s Cattlemen Association, revealed an upcoming award ceremony to be held in Wallowa County secretly honoring Oregon Gov. Kate Brown for her significant contributions to Oregon wolf recovery being stopped in its tracks.

Gov. Brown will apparently receive a special Recognition Award presented by the Oregon’s Cattlemen Association, the National Rifle Association, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Our source says the keynote speaker for the award ceremony will be Idaho Foundation for Wildlife Management founder, Justin Webb, who has successfully gained Idaho state approval for paying bounties to kill wolves in Gov. Brown’s neighboring state.

There will also be a closing ceremony video message from Donald Trump Jr. we are told to encourage more Democrats like Brown to continue to make wildlife the bargaining chip with his “boys.”

The anonymous source gave some insight on what recent action by Gov. Brown sealed her award from the powerful rancher and hunter communities.

“Gov. Brown locked up the award with her recent appointee to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission.” ODFW, which among other duties, is responsible for the state’s wolf management plan. “Anti-wolf enthusiasts absolutely lit up when Shifty Kate appointed James Nash to the Commission, given he is a hunting guide, a big game trophy hunter, and a rancher,” said our source.

Steve Pedery, conservation director of Oregon Wild, called Gov. Brown’s appointment of trophy hunter Nash “a giant middle finger to the conservation community.”

“It’s like putting Donald Trump on an electoral reform commission,” he told THE HILL.

We reached out to Oregon’s Cattlemen Association for confirmation of the upcoming award ceremony for Gov. Brown, but their spokesperson said, “no comment.”

The overwhelming majority of Oregonians support a wolf-management plan to reflect science and the public’s interest, and not private financial interests. Unfortunately for most Oregonians, when it comes to Gov. Kate Brown and wolves, the feeling today is “Governor, please stop pissing in my boot and telling me it’s raining.”
