Sen. Tester worries about Montana's wolves being relisted.

Montana Senator, Jon Tester, says he is shaken to his core to see a federal judge relist gray wolves across most of the US, even though the Federal District Court ruling does not stop the current wolf eradication efforts in his home state.

“Most folks don’t know, if it wasn’t for me bending Obama over my knee in 2011, we wouldn’t be free to kill wolves from helicopters, night hunt them, use hounds on’um, and burn puppies in their den… good times for sure in Montana,” said Sen. Tester.

“You ever run a wolf down on a snowmobile with an airplane spotting them for you… sweet Baby Jesus! What fun,” mused Tester to a surprised crowd of reporters outside his Senate office.

It was Tester in 2011 who demanded President Obama delist wolves in a rider to an appropriations bill. That removed federal protections for the gray wolf and placed it in the states’ hands (MT & ID) with “no judicial review allowed.”

“I will make Manchin look like AOC compared to me, I’m dead serious,” stated a unusually cantankerous Tester.

Sen. Tester is concerned the federal Court’s recent ruling to relist wolves to the Endangered Species list in most states will add public pressure for Interior Sec. Haaland to issue an emergency relisting in wolf slaughtering states across the Northern Rockies. Hence, his fear for Montana trophy hunters, trappers, and welfare public land ranchers.

Tester, much out of character, boldly told President Biden, “It’s only vermin and you need a Democrat like me so stay out of the the way or I’ll be lounging on Manchin’s yacht.”

Meanwhile, wolf advocates and wildlife biologists celebrate the restored protections, while voicing dismay at Sec. Haaland continuing to allow Tester’s Montana wolf slaughter to rage on this year.

Erik Molvar, a wildlife biologist and executive director with Western Watersheds Project said,”We are relieved to have staved off premature delisting with this case, but there is still a huge amount of work ahead to protect wolves in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming where they face some of their biggest threats.”

A spokeswolf for the Wapiti Lake Pack in Yellowstone National Park was heard by a tourist telling the other wolves, “with Dems like Tester, who needs human enemies.”
