Idaho officials’ wildlife policies pander to welfare ranchers, science denying hunters, and federal government conspiracy theory white nationalists, who all demand the state kill wolves as cruelly and as many as possible.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (Enviro Snowflake Brief)— Multiple Idaho officials will be named to the national Wildlife Abuser Registry, according to our sources. Idaho has earned it!

The Wildlife Abuser Registry was established in early 2019 by a consortium of states under public pressure and concern by citizens to track the movements of the most egregious wildlife abuser policy makers who might visit their states- viewed as a threat to their state’s wildlife.

Wyoming wildlife policy makers were naturally the first offenders registered to the Wildlife Abuser Registry in early 2019, as ESB reported.

The named offenders in the Wildlife Abuser Registry must call 1-800-FORGIVE to notify each visiting state’s law enforcement when entering a Registry participating state, and are also required to check-in at a Highway Patrol office within 12 hours of entering the visiting state to be outfitted with a GPS tracking ankle bracelet.

Idaho officials have a long list of accolades of inhumanity and reckless wildlife management of predators to earn their spot on the new Wildlife Abuser Registry;

  • An unhealthy obsession believing wolves are secret federal agents’ intent on taking their guns away
  • State Legislature authorizing a permanent annual funding of $200,000 for killing wolves, while K-6 education ranks 48th
  • IDFG belligerently violated federal environmental and wilderness laws by collaring wolves (to kill later) in wilderness areas-Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness
  • Proposing in 2020 to create “predator free zones” and “depredation zones” to kill wolves year-round to satisfy their blood thirsty hunters and ranchers
  • Hound hunting… steel jaw traps… killing contests… hound hunting… lobbying to hunt grizzlies…

One anonymous Registry board member told ESB, “Wyoming was a no-brainer to be the first state with officials named as cruel and reckless wildlife policy makers, but to no surprise to anyone, Idaho officials are second and equally creepy, unwanted visitors to our states.”

Another Registry board member said, “Truly, a disgusting crowd, who fears federal government and wolves equally.”

Each individual put on the Wildlife Abuser Registry remains on the list for 15 years, after which they can petition for removal, if they can show evidence of good deeds done to reverse their state’s pattern of cruelty and abuse of wildlife.

As Idaho officials are formally added to the Registry on January 30, the Board of Directors announced today they will release the 2.0 version of their GPS ankle bracelet on January 28. The tracking device is required to be worn, with no exceptions, by each policy maker put on the Wildlife Abuser Registry if they visit a Registry participating state.

The 2.0 version GPS ankle bracelet tracker closely mimics the actual feel of steel jaw traps.

One anonymous Board member added proudly, “I don’t think the new ankle bracelet will be an issue fitting under most officials’ jeans unless they wear ‘skinny jeans,’ but it can cause severe inflammation and a tendency to want to chew at your ankle, which we do not recommend.”
