Wyoming wolf 1084M successfully escaped the worst wolf state in the country, after a perilous year journey to Colorado.

DENVER, Colorado (Enviro Snowflake Brief- Not Real News)— CBS News 60 MINUTES co-anchor and CNN icon, Anderson Cooper, conducted an exclusive interview with the 3-year-old black male Wyoming gray wolf, 1084M, who traversed for over a year from deadly Wyoming to the somewhat safe wolf haven today of Colorado.

A passerby citizen captured a video of the black lobo this week in Jackson County and Colorado Parks & Wildlife confirmed the sighting, which created a media frenzy with even Gov. Polis welcoming the wolf to Colorado on twitter.

Anderson probes wolf 1084M’s mindset on what the core motivation is today for Wyoming wolves making a deadly attempt to leave the cowboy state in mass. Most will lose their life to a bullet or a trap before ever crossing the border to the Endangered Species Act protections of Colorado- Wyoming designates wolves as “vermin” in 85% of the state.

The undisclosed location of Mr. Cooper’s interview with 1084M has a stunningly beautiful backdrop of ideal wolf habitat at a remote location in Jackson County, Colorado. 60 MINUTES posted a trailer on twitter this morning to hype Anderson’s exclusive interview with gray wolf 1084M, which will air tonight on CBS.

Here is the transcript of the trailer from the 60 MINUTES interview between Anderson Cooper and wolf 1084M:

Anderson Cooper: My understanding is your family was the Snake River Pack in Wyoming, correct?

Wolf 1084M: That’s correct, and our territory was some of the most beautiful wolf habitat in the world. My fondest memories as a pup was hanging with my mates in the willow complex not far from Hawk’s Rest, a rugged mountain overlooking the Upper Yellowstone River that’s known for its location — as far as a wolf can get from a human road in the Lower 48.

Anderson Cooper: Since many wolves do like to disperse and find their own mate and territory, why leave the Cowboy state given so much public land, so much elk, and a great dating scene to find your soul mate?

Wolf 1084M: The humans in charge of wildlife in Wyoming have no conscious for humanity with wolves, or really even grizzly bears, who I’m not exactly crazy about either, but I would never wish our human treatment on any other species in Wyoming.

Anderson Cooper: I understand your feelings toward grizzlies as a wolf, but I do have to admit to you spending time with wildlife photographer, Thomas Mangelsen, last fall doing a story about grizzlies’ fate in your home state.

Now that my confession is over let me get back to wolves, 1084M. Don’t you believe science will win out and Wyoming will catch up and you can return someday?

Wolf 1084M: I wasn’t a pup yesterday! As you know, my family is no longer a family. There is no more Snake River Pack! When you have Ken Mills, as the WYGF “science guy” on wolves, who got his degree out of your Lucky Charms box, you can bet the hunters and ranchers will remain in-charge of 1890 science.

Also, you can bet your ass, if you kill more of us on public lands, although we view cattle and sheep on the menu similar to your view of McDonalds, our parentless adolescents will then eat a few more, yet us wolves still won’t eat more than .2% of them!

Anderson Cooper: 1084M, you are one of the very few fortunate Wyoming wolves to make it alive to Colorado. What are your hopes and dreams now that you’re here?

Wolf 1084M: As a wolf, my hopes and dreams are really the same as human Coloradoans. I hope to find a young female wolf as my soulmate for life…I hope to have our own territory from other wolves, I hope to have pups and watch some of them stay with us and proudly watch some of them disperse on their own and start their families… I want to play; I want to enjoy a good elk… and I hope to never see a human again after this interview- no disrespect to you Anderson.

Anderson Cooper: None taken! Is there anything you want to say to Colorado voters as humans’ debate whether to reintroduce wolves back to Colorado now versus hoping for miracles and more make it as you did to form packs?

Wolf 1084M: If you’re open minded, ask yourself why are the same humans who believe climate change is a hoax are the same who hate my species, and who spread lies and fairytales about us. Please support the Rocky Mountain Wolf Action Plan.
