CHEYENNE, WYOMING (Enviro Snowflake Brief- Not Real News)— Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s newlyformed citizen working committee to address chronic wasting disease was surprisingly given a last minute screening test to qualify for the group by WYFG Director, Brian Nesvik, yesterday, and shockingly, more than half of the members failed the five-question quiz.
The confidential WYGF screening questionnaire, which required each proposed citizen member of the working group to sign a nondisclosure agreement regarding the existence and content of the quiz, was leaked to LarmieLive.com.
Five true/false questions were asked to each of the 32 proposed members of the CWD working group via email.
The correct answer WYGF needed to see on all questions was “TRUE.”
- Wyoming elk feeding grounds are a non-factor to contributing to the spread of CWD and will always be good for elk, Wyoming, and WYGF.
- Predators, and wolves in particular, could never ever detect early infected ungulates before smart human hunters.
- Wolves and grizzlies are bad for cattle, and actually eat our hunter’s elk.
- Global warming is clearly a hoax.
- The earth is flat.
An anonymous WYGF staffer says, “Director Nesvik’s fear now is this internal leak will cause more ‘busy body’ state neighbors, like Montana, to ask even more annoying questions about WYGF seriousness to address Wyoming’s elk feeding grounds accelerating the spread of chronic wasting disease.”
Scott Edberg, acting Chief of the Wyoming Game and Fish Wildlife Division, did respond via email to our request to explain the revised timing for Wyoming to take concrete action to address chronic wasting disease, but he had no comment to address the screening quiz.
“Director Nesvik and I understand this is a timing setback for our working group, but no worries because we keep a pool of thousands of licensed in-state wolf hunters from previous years who can ace our screening quiz, and get us back to a full quorum working group,” according to Edberg.
“WYGF, no doubt, is committed to having a CWD action plan ready as soon as the end of 2035,” he added with three exclamation marks.
